Agree with the rest of your point, but it is also currently for sale (pre-order) on Campfire Audio's own website, though it doesn't offer an exact shipping date.

Here's an 'idea': somebody has a pretty big stock of those and it is not selling .. like not at all. Maybe they are crap or too expensive or there's just too many of them .. or all the above at once.
And btw, those things prolly cost less than $100 to manufacture so everyone's still making lots of money.

If you read the Campfire thread, the Nova and Andromeda are the newest from CA, and they were running a promo on Massdrop. The Nova quickly hit the "lowest price" point, and the demand is quite high. Drop alloted 200 units, and it is out of stock in CA until the drop is over. Ken wants to get the word out about the new IEM's, hence the drop.

We assume anything less than the full 200 will then go back onto the CA website. Both have excellent early impressions, and I got in on the drop for the Nova.

Ken is very well respected around here.
