Excellent build quality, super comfy pads, great bluetooth connection and battery life is fantastic. Unfortunately without modding they cater to the beats crowd with its tuning and with the extra bass turned on in BT it turns into an earthquake on your head. With modding (look for Bill-P mod on the XB950BT thread) it turns into a warm phone that's got good mids and a subdued high with an option to turn on heavy bass when using BT. Mods require dynamat and shelf liner.

At least you HAVE a formerly owned column on you profile, as opposed to someone I know...

What's even worse is when you see someone with a lot of trader feedback--only it's all for buying headphones, no selling :dt880smile:

B&H has the M-Audio AV 40 bookshelf speakers on sale for $80/pair for the next 5+ hours. These things are fantastically good value at their usual price just over $100. At $80 (plus free shipping), they're a steal.

Nothing yet. They were on sale last year for $25. I actually picked up a pair this summer for that price... but I'm still waiting to open them.

>.<
This is the problem.

I listen to over ears so seldom at home, I was waiting for my HD558 to sell, thinking I would use my PortaPros on the rare occasion. But now... well, Black Friday is just around the corner and all..

This kills the wallet.
