Why can't anyone find a deal on Sennheiser HD 600? :/

Here you go:
$205 (with CTECH15 code) +$25 shipping
http://www.ebay.com/itm/SENNHEISER-HD-600-/221865020630?hash=item33a82f8cd6
It's used though.
EDIT: Code might only be for me.  You can try though.  Have to use Paypal and expire tomorrow.

Seems like the Nighthawk reviews are all over the place. People gushing about it and saying "meh"

I think it just depends on your background & what you are comparing it to.

Every time I see a positive review, I try to figure out if they updated it since I heard it last but.  But nope, same model since Canjam Socal.

It's not for everyone and certainly sounds pretty odd. It took me a good while to warm up to them too and, honestly, I think they're quite special and I like them. I do admit that they're not something I would own, but certainly a product that merits at least some attention.

Everyone's got their own personal taste I guess

At our meet, a guy had a similar impression in a show in California.  Back home, we tested it from both our gear.  I was super tempted to by one as AQ offered 20% off that day.  I wouldn't describe it dark, slow, boring, or flat.  It certainly was a smooth, clean, and collected presentation.  But warm treble and great speed.  I am starting to wonder if each pair sounds different!

Just saw the Massdrop post, all look to be gone, still have Geek Out 450, going to save sine money.

How does the GO compare to the other sources you've tried?

Actually have the GO 1000 and the Geek Out Special Edition, I meant Massdrop has the 450 still on sale. Liked the 1K enough when I bought it to spring for the Special Edition...like that one a whole lot. Currently I use it with Regen from my PC. Much better sounding than the CENTRANCE M8 imo. I'm on the vacation, brought my 1k with me, but I've been too lazy to good it up and have just been using the Pono.

Ah, thanks.  eke2k6 said it sounded much better than all the DAPs he'd ever heard, so I was a bit curious.

LH Labs is a Royal PIA in many ways, but, so far, I think they do good sound!
