was waiting for the announcement of the new models to consider. But having seen them and having used a m11, Thinking whether if theres still stock for the WM1A, it might be better to get the older model?

I'm looking forward to getting my 1TB microSD card this week. Previously I've just made the jump up through each step 200 > 256 > 400 > 512, and this is a big storage size up. Are there any tips for an efficient file tagging system for the sake of the Walkman's rebuilds? eg. is it better to have each track tagged with album art or just have 1 folder art. Does it not really make a difference? Now would be a good time for me to make any changes before I start to add a lot more music.

This is one area I admittedly am not 100% proficient in. Though the effort I put into it seems to emit enough results where I’m happy? Obviously you can also become totally obsessed with filing, to the point of a critical experience. The only time it’s really an issue is maybe with bunches of live recordings? Where it’s the same artist but you may have 1990 albums and 1995 albums with identical songs. The simple way to navigate this is place all the files in the same folder. And while Android probably gives you song search, I don’t care. As I simply use album title, artist title and look into cards the way I naturally have them labeled. Which a lot of the time has them listed numerically then alphabetically. So? The only way I stumble is if I forget a piece of music that’s rare. Like a DSD needle drop that was interpreted by the device as unknown. Again that instance is maybe one out of thousands. I mean I simply find that again and it refreshes my memory of what it is. But often I will have whole libraries of an artist and have one album on a different player. That results in me looking for the 24bit album only to have to search to the 1A to find it. I will keep at times two different artist libraries which does get confusing, but I caused that!
But all and all I could care less about artwork, or filing practices as I listen to the players so much I simply know the way around, like an inner city ghetto.
