100+ Head-Fier
I have used Hewlett Packard Micro SD cards at 512gb, and Sandisk at 1tb. Both have had zero problems. There is no audible sonic difference to me. The HP cards represent a pretty good deal.
If you can hold out until Black Friday sales I usually get a bargain on Sandisk through Amazon, usually around 50% which allows me to go for a larger capacity card.Speaking of SanDisk are they where it's at for SD cards? I need to grab one. I have one of the Samsung Evo ones but it's only a 128gb. Need to grab a bigger one anyways.
Black Friday isn't usually anywhere near as big savings wise in Canada, but I don't need it urgently so maybe I will hold off and see if they drop a bit.If you can hold out until Black Friday sales I usually get a bargain on Sandisk through Amazon, usually around 50% which allows me to go for a larger capacity card.
I've used several Sandisk for years and have had zero issues.
Check out this crazy movement away from headphones!Does anyone have a hi-res home audio stereo system with speakers? I am looking to build one. Right now I have a sound bar, and would like to upgrade my system.
I have to say, the 1Z is also a timeless device. Wonderful pic
I'm being heavily influenced by your reviews/impressions and pictures

I totally understand what you're saying. I've followed various Sony product threads over the years and firmwares aside I believe to have been able to understand what the differences are. There is also a nice 1A/1Z comaprison on the super audio best friends site emphasizing those subtleties. For me and my currency the Australian pricing was the lowest in the world for my WM1A and the current 1Z price is super low so it doesn't have the same price difference of what most experienced, also if I can source a secondhand one I could further diminish those diminishing returns.Well, it’s in some ways subtle and small. Yet it other ways, it’s a big difference. So I don’t exactly know what to say? Though if you are really used to the 1A, it may take you a day to get into it? If the WM1Z is brand new.......possibly longer? But the new firmware with the 1A is really really good. Not $2000 difference (or ever was?).....but what’s there in the 1Z, is there.
