Don't know what eol means but the orochi is a custom order. You have to ask them for a quote and they will give you instructions to purchase it.

Ah, MEMS. Sounds like it’s going to be a USB-C IEM if the Noble XM1 is an indicator.
When’s the spring PortaFes? I’ll be in Japan in April if the timing works out.

By the looks of the block diagram it might be just a complete IEM package. No amp specifics so possible it could work with Tsuranagi.
There's the Fujiya-Avic Winter festival this weekend, i guess we'll hear more once it starts tomorrow.

If the emphasis is on portability it’s going to be smaller than the Tsu. I wouldn’t expect it to be a super high end set though.

Very interesting.
The MEMS is not acting like normal BA/Dynamic driver then using active crossover with independent amplifier section could be a wise choice.
But putting a 5 way active crossover + amplifier in a hand palm size could be a challenging

No, it must be bigger.
To be easier to imagine, Shure KSE1200/1500 could be a example of physical implementation.

It's pretty amazing what the Tsuranagi does when added to my WM1Z..

If anyone has used the Tsuranagi with the WM1Z (or M2).. what is the best setting for the volume on both devices? Since there is no LO mode on the Sony DAPs..
