that's looks accurate to me, though my cocobolo grado's were darker in color

I have to agree about the Darth Beyers. Well I don't think they're actively ugly, and certainly the wood is nice, but they're lacking a certain je ne sais quoi for me. They just don't have the pazazz, the cajoones, the panache. It might just be the black plastic that doesn't quite sit with the wood for me. Different strokes for different folks, always - and nothing is more subjective than beauty.
 
Also, I just wanted to clarify that my comment a number of pages back about Bieber Beats was entirely sarcastic. They are utterly hideous.
Since people have since started actually posting Beats as their choice I felt that I'd better revise my stance.

Absolutely. But there is a polite way to say it, and an impolite way. I think, when one is saying they dislike something, it's beneficial to be polite about it.

I do agree with you also that people need not repost pics - one posting of any pic is enough, and it is easy to snip out the pic when quoting

Getting my D2000s done up like these.  Cable is done (almost identical to pic-terminated w/ furutech fp704), now to choose the right wood for the cups.
