Lol. Yeah I agree. I mean CDs are pretty well used still.
I still have 2 optical drives in my main PC. And a portable for the others.

my antipodes ripper goes through an elaborate analysis of the album and track before authorizing ripping including finger print analysis with acoustic verification. takes 5-10 minutes at least per album. don't know how its better than straight ripping, but its cool to watch.

That's not a bad price for the piece. I like this generation's M form factor.

I agree. It looks like they have an option for a stainless steel version for $200 more. Not sure it's going to make that much of a difference with a SS chassis.

Since I won't be playing it in the rain nor shooting at it I will just go with the cheap chassis :laughing:

Giving it a little more time, just got my first Hiby ordered and want to see what all the hoopla is about with Hiby! R3 2nd Gen :grin:

The R3 is a great piece, I use it whenever I go hiking.
