"Also you are by admission a known basshead lol"..
Guilty as charged :joy:
However, I have to say that firstly I don't think my love for the LPGT sound was due to it being more neutral.
I heard that Sony updated the FW of the WM1Z and the most recent one was less organic and analogue and more neutral-reference.
It didn't do much for me at all, and I found the LPGT to be more musical, enjoyable and at the same time, technically outstanding.

And note that even with my pretty neutral-ish and relatively bass-light IEMs (iBasso IT04, Stealth Sonics U9), I still preferred listening to them with the LPGT.
I regret that I never tried out the PMEQ with the LPGT actually. That would have been very interesting I suspect :)

Yep, not bad looking bike considering that’s a 25 year old model. Can’t wait to get the restoration started as it’s a keeper and a good investment.
Reckon it matches the 1Z:L3000:
I am sometimes eyeing the original Ducati 748. It is about the same age and a gorgeous bike, especially in yellow. That, or build myself a fully custom Triumph bobber.

Ok want to say thanks guys for your input over the last few days and help with my decisions on dap purchase, I have made a decision! I'm going to order the dx160 2020 version today as I did like the one I had a lot! Don't think you can get better audio bang for buck...then once back at work and moved/settled and finances straight I'm going to buy a Hugo2 probably in a few months as long as the economy doesnt mess up work ...this gives me more options, little speakers , and cans like possibly Ananda , I also have talked to owners of 1z and Hugo 2 and a few not all prefer it ...but it's the extra options that really swing it for me and I can use the 160 as transport..

Either would be nice, think I’d go with the Ducati personally. I know a guy in Wales that restores old Triumphs and sells them on. He’s always got about 15 in his workshop. I was at his place when he took delivery of a Triumph Jubilee that had been crated up 30 or 40 years ago and we opened it up while I was there. Nice bike
My mate wants to put a modern sports bike engine in an old Triumph frame lol that’ll upset the purists !!!!!
