So just got my Ares II... Right is the Ares, left is the OKCSC. 3.5mm Connectors are identical, except that the Ares is a tad shorter on the 3.5mm jack, which overlaps with the micro usb charging adapter on my Get. Gauge of the Ares II is MUCH bigger... I'd say two wires from the OKCSC is a little less than 1 of the Ares. Splitter is branded EA and much bigger.



Typical 2 pin 0.78mm connectors EA branded vs typical 2 pin on the OKCSC. Memory shrinking for ear hook. The plastic moulding over the pins is thinner on the Ares, it fits first try inside the R1's.



Not much time for a sonic impression yet. More to follow.

Karendar, would you please compare the OKCSC cable and the Ares II cable soundwise?

Omg I had it last week and 4 people phoned in sick last Monday at work it's really doing the rounds.
