I definitely hear a difference between DAC chips, discreet DACs and different implementations of the same Chips/Resistor Ladders. Maybe I'm "special" but I've read the same thing from other people and these people aren't audiophiles. Just my 2 cents.
Oh Dear, has someone just started an economic World war where everyone will be a loser?

Didn't say I agreed with it. I hear a difference for sure.I definitely hear a difference between DAC chips, discreet DACs and different implementations of the same Chips/Resistor Ladders. At first, I thought I couldn’t hear a significant difference between the LAiV Harmony and the EverSolo DMP-A8’s AKM DAC. But even during casual listening (not critical listening), when I played Mercy by Max Richter & Mari Samuelsen, A Long Time Ago by First Aid Kit, and Birds by Dominique Fils-Aimé, the highs/treble didn’t sound as smooth as usual — they came across a bit harsh and slightly sibilant. So, I put the Harmony back into the chain. I stand corrected — the Harmony really does sound better than the DMP-A8’s internal DAC, even though the EverSolo measures well. In the end, it just doesn’t suit my taste.
Put a linear power supply in your A6 and A8 and you will notice a huge difference. I'm very impressed with the upgrade to my A6 ME.At first, I thought I couldn’t hear a significant difference between the LAiV Harmony and the EverSolo DMP-A8’s AKM DAC. Thanks for the suggestion! I really appreciate it. That said, I’m not sure I’d be able to tell the difference during casual listening. I don’t have golden ears — I’m just sensitive to harsh or sibilant sounds and don’t enjoy bloated, muddy bass. For me, critical listening often feels like focusing on the gear instead of the music. But if something bothers me during casual listening, I’m open to trying different setups until I’m happy. So far, I’m happy with what I have!Put a linear power supply in your A6 and A8 and you will notice a huge difference. I'm very impressed with the upgrade to my A6 ME.

Wow. So he's I'm a victim of my imagination? My iPhone is as good as any Dac on the market? Hmmm, I'd like to know how many dacs he has compared to his phone. In my opinion, this is aimed at the masses who rely on Beats Headphones via bluetooth or something similar. If I had been following this guy for his audio expertise in the past, I would probably be stopping now. Thanks for sharing though!
Best to leave it to the resident gif-master to do your gif for you!Didn't say I agreed with it. I hear a difference for sure.
