If you want a desktop setup, I would recommend a Eversolo DMP-A6 or the new DMP-A8 as the DAC and a Headamp GSX MKII as the AMP. Great pairing and will get you to the place you want.I have a preference more for a desktop set up, but I would use the Hugo always plugged in. But the ibasso looks great!

I have a case really similar to the Effect Audio case you posted. It's by Eletech. I paid way more for it though. I don't like it very much because it's to hard and will bend if you use it too much. I like the softer cases. Plus Chinese leather sucks.
Hmm, well that sucks. I was hoping the EA case would be more sturdy like my Miter case is. The thing is a tank, but it's limited to the DAP and 2 IEMs at most. The more I think about it, the more I might want to grab the big brother to my Miter case and just look for a laptop bag with a larger front pocket and call it a day.
This is the Miter case that I'm referring to:
Nice case. I think they use cardboard in my case to make it hard. It's thick but feels like it's going to bend if I stuff it in my bag. Yeah, miter makes great stuff. They probably use plastic inserts.Hmm, well that sucks. I was hoping the EA case would be more sturdy like my Miter case is. The thing is a tank, but it's limited to the DAP and 2 IEMs at most. 'Tis a nice mild sunny dry day here in Dublin for the Saint Patrick's Day Parade.
We have a massive influx of tourists for the weekend, so we usually stay at home, have a few friends over, eat and drink a few too many glasses of vino. We don't touch spirits or cocktails as they are hard to pace and you can end up on your ear!

Look at this beauty from Cayin, real tubes included. Not nutubes. Went on preorder today, and is affordable.

I have the N3 Pro and love its sound. Wonder how much power the Ultra can deliver. That was one short-comings of the Pro, somewhat under-powered, especially since the tube function can only be had in SE mode. With the tube in balanced output, power must be decent.
While I am intrigued by this, for the money, it looks nice. Android 8.1? Seems like a step backwards for the UI. I don't need another DAP. Since I have the Pro already, this, to me, is a little redundant. I like the strides they're taking to improve, however. Good to see.

There's not a whole lot of info on it yet, especially specs. I found a marketing writeup but not a whole lot else. I'm really interested in it due to the JAN6418 tubes and the pseudo-balanced tube output. I really haven't found a Nutube amp I've liked.I have the N3 Pro and love its sound. I don't know if any of you saw the deal on an Audeze Aluminum Travel Case that was posted in the Deals thread on site, but in case you hadn't I thought I'd post it up. It's a nice case that can be used for many different headphones according to them. It's normally $175, on sale for $39.00. I couldn't pass that up.
