Going through some later R.E.M.
These bring back some distinct memories.
One with Eddie Vedder collaboration (weird video):

from a great album. Another weird video- I like the focusing of actions in the scene happening all the same time but with isolated views, just a neat effect.

This is what I'm using with my OH500s....

It's a Triton8 Silver/Copper Hybrid in box braid config.

That's real nice. I always liked the box braiding. Don't see too much in that configuration. Giving nice balanced to the 500s? The 500s can be a little dark so I imagine the hybrid evens it out some.

Yes it sounds fantastic. It brings out the detail and lifts the warmth a bit. The cable is a little stiff but the sound really makes up for it. I picked it up for a really good price. About 30% of retail.

Hi Majo, Yep I'm OK thanks. I've been trying to limit my purchases too (not always successfully though :) ), I'm going to get the Hiby R3 pro when its released, it looks like it may be a nice DAP, certainly very portable.

Hope you are good as well.

I agree it does look good, read quite a low noise floor compared to r6pro ,although still a fantastic dap and still on paper sounds better apparently...I'm good just chilling with tunes to be honest , loving abbey rd 50th anniversary 24 bit at the minute, really great remaster , the ballad of john and yoko take is awesome like you were there, hairs on my arm stuff ...love it.

I know, how do they do that, with stuff that was recorded 50 years ago too. I wish it was financially worthwhile giving a lot more old recordings this kind of treatment.

I think the remastering has come on leaps and bounds, I have kate bush remastered I think from late 90s ok but not much different to original, just got her recent remasters ...awesome.
I have abbey rd, the doors the doors, sgt pepper , the white album all 24 bit 50th anniversary remastered and they are leaps ahead of any other remasters I own.
