One positive I've notice to apple moving the iPad Pro to a usb-c port is there is no need to use a camera connection kit to plug a DAC into it. Just needed a usb a to usb c adapter for my cable and can play out of my Modi 2 without anything else. Convenient for when I don't want to drag my laptop into work with me.
