Even better! So full verification of compatibility in 2 days right? :gs1000smile:

Yes, and I checked and should be able to load about 198GB of music into it.

Has anybody listened to AK240 with Oblivion soundtrack by M83?

I listened to the version from iTunes and to be honest it was a little underwhelming compared to my other experiences with the AK240.

I was listening with Noble 4's.

Hey guys!

I just wanted to post how IMPRESSED I am by the AK240.
Normally I use it on a daily basis with my JH audio Roxannes, but I managed to get a good deal on a Sennheiser HD700 and man... even without further amp'ing - it sounds wonderful! Listening to Eric Serra's Fifth Element OST in 24 bit / 44.1kHz is one big joy!

A happy AK240 owner :).

So i have owned an AK240 for a while now and have enjoyed owning it. Easy to use, good UI, well built sounds good and all the rest. A few days ago i had the chance to do a direct comparison between the AK240 and the Pono player. I only used WAV CD rips and both players were used in single ended mode.

I have to say that any difference in sound quality was miniscule in terms of specifics like treble extension, bass articulation etc. I would have to do more listening to be sure and that won't happen unless i buy a Pono but my impression is that i was enjoying the music more out of the Pono. It just seemed right. Perhaps i will buy a Pono..

I was using DITA "The Answer" Truth Edition..

I'd love to try the pono but I've been hearing really mixed things about it and it's not really made in a good pocket format
