Major transfer woes.
 
I've been copying files to my new AK240 using the Android File Transfer on a Mac. I've been plagued by "cannot copy file" errors, which I could resolve by deleting the offending folder and recreating it. But after transferring about 40 GB worth of music in batches, the player rebooted and POOF...everything I loaded to internal storage is now gone.
 
I've restarted the player, rescanned media...nothing.
 
Any suggestions?
 
I didn't have similar issues copying to the AK120ii from the same computer.

best bet is to manually create the folders in your ak240 first. then copy and paste the music files directly into the artist folders in ak240.
 
avoid copying folders containing music directly into the ak240. it glitches sometimes.

Wow...that's inefficient. Is the issue the same on Windows? I'd be tempted to go the emulation route in that case. 
 
I wonder why I didn't have this issue with the AK120ii?

I just don't feel comfortable splurging on a $1K interconnect at this stage. 
 
Looking to test the SQ of AK240/Taurus Mk2/LCD3 in a fully balanced setup vs AK240/Chord Hugo/Taurus Mk2/LCD3. Hopefully, the former setup will be as good as the latter. This way, I'd be able to let go of the Hugo.

I decided to buy a fun color case.  I bought yellow with gray interior and think it looks cool.  I certainly won't lose this on an airplane.  The quality is surprisingly good for the price.  Since I have not seen another this color, I thought I would share it.  Also, the textured leather is nice and grippy.  It feels more secure when holding the device.

Quality is surprisingly good, the fit is just ok. I think it's a bit too short on the top.
