Went to DMA in Mongkok where they checked the other branches as well and it was all sold out. Apparently they should be getting more stock sometime this week.

Have you tried China Club (華仁影音)? They also sell AK players....

Thanks, didn't know they sold them. Anyway I've left my contact number with DMA and they will call me once they have the ak240 available.

Dealer told me it's on purpose send a few at a time so as not to flood the market. Told me to wait it out if I could a couple months and things should be more normal...

Same strategy used by Apple for so many years, they produce enough but with a lag so that it appears scare and people want it no matter what.
