The Astell & Kern AK240

I find if I delete any files via AFT, the 240 crashes more often than not if I try to copy over new files. So, I just reboot and that usually works, but not every time. I have about 15GB left of available storage on the internal drive and I will be happy when it is filled up so I don't have to ever deal with AFT again; the problem is, there's been a dearth of new hi res titles that I would consider buying. I only store hi res FLAC files on the internal drive. My CD collection is stored on a 200GB Sandisk card, all as ALAC files, and it is filled up.

I'm looking forward to a larger capacity microSD card ...

That may be true, although I've never experienced it specifically myself. Special procedures and considerations, just adds credence, to how flaky AFT can be.

So, ebay has a 240 right now with the current bid at $1075, with $50 shipping. The seller has zero feedback, yet when the player could have been bought at $1000, not one person bid on it.

Really what this comes down too is how much the bidder/buyer in question will miss the $1000 temporarily if the sale collapses. If your bank account was quite healthy and that $1000 wouldn't be missed you will get it back providing you use Paypal protection. Though some people simply can't afford to have that money go dead for the 7-14+ days it will take to retrieve it going through with a case.

I would play such games with $100-$200 items but not $1000 personally.

It ended up selling for $1183, with 7 bids. I am going to leave it in my watch list to see if the seller gets positive feedback.

I also do that, leave ended items in my watch list to see if negative feedback is left.

Other than the Mac specific problems, that may or may not be attributable to the 1.33 FW update (AFT being AFT), this FW update is just as solid as all previous AK updates.
