What's your main file type?
Do you have the latest firmware?
Have you tried a hard restart ?

I have everything from DSD, AIFF, Flac, and MP4. No one seems to be the main culprit-tho never a problem with DSD.
I do have the latest firmware.
Have not tried a "Hard reset". Will that erase anything?
Thanks, so much kh600rr for weighing in. The sound emanating is so incredible, but geez the loading of music!!!

Dont hook Chord Hugo to the AK240 Warning: You will be digging deep

Hi Frank.

I was wondering, how are you connecting your AK240 to the Hugo? Via the included Hugo optical cable or some other cable like a line-out one? Just wondering how to best connect the AK240 to the Hugo. I have both now. Thanks

Hey guys,

I just got my AK240 and I'm trying to copy files to it and I've been getting errors.  And what's really strange is that when I try to see what files did copy over successfully, it takes about 2 seconds per file just to read a folder's contents.  You navigate to a folder with Explorer (doing this on Win 7) and it takes a long time just to read the folder list.

Is this normal?  Is copying via the supplied USB cable not the way to go?

Any help appreciated as I don't have much time before I leave on a week's vacation!

Thanks.
Have you tried a different USB port ( one that is on the rear and not fed via a header) and are you plugging in directly to the PC (not thru a hub)?

I hav eit connected with the moon silver dragon tosling they sent with the unit. Sound amazing, This  is a new chassis model and  rca go in easy too.

Hi Frank,

I purchased my Hugo from TTVJ. I think it is the new chassis model. Not sure. Chord included some optical cables as accessories with the Hugo so I am using those. Which earphone or headphone are you using and what kind of headphone/earphone cable are you using? Just wondering. Thanks.

I have been using a wide variety of headphones, I have the LCD X,HD800,alpha dog and the PM-1review saople still here. I also used the roxanne and UE18 with it so far.  Very impressive combination. The dac is very good and ranks up there with some of the better one Ihav eheard. Headphone cables I have  are Wywires and Q form Steve Eddy here now.

I was using one on the front and it's certainly not USB 3.0 so I'll try the rear.

Thanks.

Hi Frank, would you recommend TH900(SE) or HD800 (SE or balanced) if mostly I listen to pop, jazz and voice? :)

Probably returning the AK240 as the AK120II just seems to be the same sans native DSD (which I don't even use) and half the storage (128GB+MicroSD is more than enough for me). Probably won't get the AK120II either just seems like the AK120III and AK240II are just around the corner...

Sorry what is AK120II? You mean the Titan version? What makes you think there is a new mark for 120 and 240 coming soon?
