I think you may be confused - there are black Pro 82s in both versions. The black OscarPaz was referring to is the color of the cardboard box - which you don't have.
What length is the cable? if it's 1.6m, then you have the new version.
@BenF, since this is being a recurring question... could you please make it more clear on the first posts of this thread?
I think it might be helpful for those who didn't follow the thread since the beginning. Thanks.

Hmm, i'm kinda new in the sound area and i just bought some earphones (Monk+, Rock Zircon) and a headphone (Takstar Pro82). Actually, i must say thanks for this topic, @BenF and all the contributors! I've done a lot of research to choose between Pro82 and ISK MDH9000, i choose Pro82 cause i'll use them a lot and people say it's very comfortable - i must say i was kinda worried about the bad reviews of Pro82, but i'll give it a shot! :)

I've measured the bass boost on Oppo Ha-2, Oppo HA-2SE, Topping NX4 DSD and FIIO E17, and compared it with Pro 82's built-in bass boost:

Oppo HA-2SE is within 0.1dB of Oppo HA-2, so I removed it from the graph.
The values in the legend are at 100Hz.

FIIO E17 has the most colored BB, with 0.7-1.1dB at 1000Hz, and 1.6-2.7dB at 500Hz.
HA-2 and NX4 DSD are a lot cleaner.
I forgot to measure FIIO E6, which is the only amp with a bass boost in the "synergy" combos, will probably add it later

It's expected that HW bass boost should be better than bass port-based one, but a picture is worth a thousand words.

Are there any bluetooth headphones that comes even close Takstar Pro 82 considering sound quality? I have no need for active noise cancelling.

One option would be to buy a bluetooth dongle but that doesn't look that good and the cable could easily detach.

I haven't personally heard the Definitive Technology Symphony 1, but they review well and while their list price is $399, there is an eBay seller asking $109 or best offer right now (no affiliation or experience with this seller):

They may exceed your requirements however since they support wired, wireless, USB, and active noise-cancellation modes. Reviews:

Thanks. I will check that out. It seems that it only supports bluetooth 3.1 and has only 10-15h of playtime which isn't much.

I have also thought of Marshall Monitor Bluetooth headphones but I I don't know about it's sound quality (can't test them anywhere).

Bose QC15/25, B&O H8/9, Bowers Wilkins PX and Sony WH1000XM2 are not good enough.
Bowers Wilkins P7 is the best Bluetooth headphone I've heard, very similar to the first revision of Pro 82 - but extremely uncomfortable.
B&O H7 is a close second.

Your best bet is a high quality Bluetooth adapter:

I use it with all my headphones, it has a clip-on - so nothing detaches.

What options are there to have a mic with a mute switch? A decent one, i was going to get the v moda boom pro, but it's 3.5mm, i could get an adapter but i don't know if it would feel ok.

KetDirect

It works perfect. Problem is the build quality.

I have it too. Works perfect with the Takstar Pro 82.
