any suggestions on a good solid state? i posted another thread on the amp forum re:amps in general. i'm completely new to this and would love to find a comprehensive guide explaining amps and such...

I think you could just get an Anedio D1 DAC for a straight forward solution. That's what I do with my Audio Technica W11R.
