Ya D300 is a bit of a mystery as are all soundaware gear. Its just not promoted much.

The sound quality using it as a transport has been excellent, better than all the USB and S/PDIF converters I've used, except the 2go with the Hugo 2, for which I'd say it's about equal. It's hard to compare to other streamers though as I don't have enough experience.

You are referring to the D300 correct? I don't think I am going to go with a 2go as I don't need the portability. I was one of the public beta testers for the Poly, and although I didn't have as many issues as others, and mostly satisfied with the product, I just think that there are other options better options to consider if you don't need the portability.

Yes, D300REF. I should really do a Unison vs. D300REF comparison with the Yggdrasil, but I've already found that the Unison USB input is still a bit transport sensitive.

DI20HE Might bring a good fight to the D300ref. It handily beat my Lumin u1 mini + Keces stack.
