Actually, I'd say it looks like this headphone has some kind of port just below the cables.

Hopefully those renders are not to scale. The IEMs are huge and the ear cup tiny.

The writing on the IEM says XBA-25 I believe.
As for the headphones you can see the vent on the bottom of the cups.

What exactly does look nice about them? From that pic I only see black plastic cups, nothing nice about that from my point of view.

Looks to be a nicely padded leather headband the cups look matte black they won't be plastic for a flagship headphone no way it's connected to a nice headband with a silver finish with the Sony logo nicely done to me they look amazing.

The earcups could be some sort of lightweight metal alloy as well.

Judging from the photos there's nothing to suggest that it isn't plastic unfortunately
