Actually if you put a small piece of paper between the connector and the headphone socket, the issue disappears but yes, it should not be fixed this way..

Now I use a custom cable (see the pic)  with them and non-original connectors go tighter - the problem disappears again.

omg :scream:, does it sound significantly better in balanced mode with the pha 3?

The fact is that the balanced output is 320 + 320 mW while the standard is 100 mW @ 32 Ohm

I do have the same issue!

I made a "sticky tape mod" to resolve the issue with the left earphone

Can I just say how much I love the Z5? I just ordered a set of custom IEMs from EarWerkz after auditioning them, and I'm pretty sure the Z5 is the only headphone out of my collection that I'm going to keep in addition to them. Such a smooth, fun and coherent sound.

My left filter nozzle it stuck inside than right , is it ok ? Or should i pull it out ??

Don't know but i've heard if you do this of pulling the filter out, they will sound harsh, but really don't know, i have been tempted to do this with my XBA-H3 too, so the bass settles down

You could pull the filter out a bit to match the other side but as mentioned removing it might be a bad idea. But it is a modification than be done to increase the treble of you want a more aggressive signature. Personally I am not messing with the filter myself as I love it how it is now.

Sorry I tried my UE tips which I like a lot but actually went back to the Sony hybrids and don't feel a need for anything different.

are you going to pull the filters completely out or just to "level" with the other one? if doing pulling them out all the way, report back the sound as i want to do the same for my XBA-H3
