I know the fault is on my side but this is the only website which does not load, everysingle other website loads perfectly, so I am at a loss on what to do...

I already mentioned what should be the issue and the solution.
It sounds like something related to the DNS service your internet connection uses.

I recommend using the 8.8.8.8 DNS service from Google.

So:
1. Press Win+R, type "ncpa.cpl", then press Enter.

2. Right click the network adapter that you're using to connect to internet, and click Properties.

3. Double click "Internet Protocol Version 4", and choose "Use the following DNS server addresses". In the "Preferred DNS server" put "8.8.8.8".

4. Click OK, and exit all the open windows. Do Win+R again, type "ipconfig /flushdns", and press Enter.

Everything should be fine afterwards.

I purchased a Sony NW-A55 on the classifieds and it has Mr. Walkman NW-WM1Z firmware. Very nice.

Nice!

Give it a listen for a while (if it doesn't say anything like "External tuning not applied" in the Unit Information menu), I'm curious what you think of the sound.

The UI should be exactly like on the WM1A with this firmware.

It didn't recognize micro SD once, but I got it working.

Technology has come a long way and has brought many improvements, like carrying all your music on one device played back in all it's glory.
I was listening to an album from the late 70's which is one I frequently go to when I get new gear or try a new firmware and I was thinking how great it was that going back all those years and even further that the tech at the time (analogue) allowed them to capture such great quality recordings that are still appreciated today and can be enjoyed in superb quality. Wouldn't it be tragic if like that era of the early digital consumer audio/video gear that all these great albums were recorded as heavily compressed mp3s or movies were only captured in DVD quality.

I purchased a Sony NW-A55 on the classifieds and it has Mr. Walkman NW-WM1Z firmware. Very nice.
Still going for gold?

Can anyone help me to find a combo for my wm1a that expands the soundstage as much as possible and makes it as three-dimensional as possible? Thanks to those who want to help me :gs1000smile:

You could try Neutral, maybe with the TW region.

The one im currently on (Bright MX3 V2 Regular DAC) fits the bill! I love it on my atlas, it cleaned up the midbass bloom and made everything considerably 3d sounding. I'll have to try with my other iems if its consistent or just a one time thing. But as it is now, its very impressive.

edit: This is on 3.5mm so it might be different (for better or worse that depends).
