I went ahead and installed FE and that went fine... when I did a StockRevert FE, however, it did not work on my ZX300. We appreciate you, good sir! Thank you ! Looking forward to testing out the music playback !

Oh, ok. I fixed the issue and I uploaded the firmware again on the website.

Apply this fix over your installed DMP-300 FE, and then you should be able to use StockRevert (DMP-300 FE).

So apply the fix, then use StockRevert, and then please install FE again (after downloading it again from the website) and use StockRevert again (without applying the fix again), in order to check if all is ok.

I've tried to install the new update. I ran StockRevert (DMP-300)_16.11.exe and this seems to have worked and I'm back on version 2.02. However, when I tried to install DMP-300_FE.exe update seems to work but then restarts without finishing on player. Play still shows original version so look like it has failed for me.

Just tried the DMP-300_FE_fix.exe fix but not recognizing my player as connected.

oops, seems I jumped the gun too soon... I'm still on FE lol... it went thru the motions but the unit info still displays FE. Also, when I try the external revert, it's giving me the "Connect target device to a computer with USB cable" message

I forgot something about how DMP-300 installation worked, unfortunately. It's all good now, I also updated the StockRevert for the old DMP-300.

If someone will install DMP-300 FE, please also test the StockRevert package of DMP-300 FE and let me know if all is fine. I triple-checked everything, but a confirmation would be nice.

Also, as mentioned, if you are currently using the previous DMP-300 firmware, I recommend using the StockRevert for DMP-300 that you can find on the website. It's more stable.

Make sure that you don't see "Firmware mod by MrWalkman" in the Unit information menu anymore.

Otherwise, it means that StockRevert (DMP-300) didn't go through, and you will see "connect the player to the computer" issue.

My problem is: I installed the StockRevert from the website, than I applied the DMP-300_FE.exe. After that I can't install or revert anything. All the fixes show me that my player is not connected to USB. The only thing I can install is DMP-300_FE.exe but it doesn't do anything. I see only 2.02.

Yep.

As per the quick guide I posted above, you are in situation one:

1. You were using the old DMP-300, and you used the StockRevert (DMP-300) from the website => apply this fix, and you will be able to install DMP-300 FE
