You might want to adjust the buttons, it seem the space on the ZX300 is even more limited.

Build id is b166d3a, correct? You can see it on Misc tab, bottom right. Custom user font, not my problem

With default font it's still way too close. (the ZX300 have slightly smaller width)

Why not moving the DAC button into the misc menu or putting it to the right side?

Why not moving the DAC button into the misc menu or putting it to the right side?

Sound settings are to the left, visuals and misc to the right. DAC is important, people say they need it, so definitely not misc.

DAC button was moved from 10:00 to 17:00, first number was 1 (not 0 like on your screenshot), so it was somewhat fine. Clock will be moved to the right in the next release like this:

No idea, I'm on nw-a50 stock, which has fm on by default. I'll look into it... eventually. You have A50 too, right? I think that there is no reason to stay on Walkman One aside from DSEE HX and interface changes.

About FM radio on other devices (like ZX300) - not a clue. Why wasn't it enabled in the first place, hardware issues? If I figure out how to enable radio on W1 A50, it might be ported to other devices.

about dc phase linearizer...
type a is a faster bass, with more "thump" and less decay. low for subbass emphasis, standard is normal, high is upper-bass emphasis. type b is slow bass, which sounds "thicker" and not thumpy. hope that helps.
The question is not how it sounds but does it work at all and if it does, can you confirm it empirically? I've seen countless descriptions of various features, there is no need for another one. The problem is that some features have conditions based on processor instructions; decompiled code is vague so I cannot tell for sure if DC works at all. I don't trust anyone's ears after that region fiasco; want technical proof with graphs.

Nice!

One thing on the WM1A/Z is that the screen is 854x480 instead of just 800x480 (I think it was for A50 and the rest) - Wampy doesn't occupy the whole screen, which may not be an issue, but the touch areas for the buttons are also offset a bit. I have to tap a little to the left.

Wampy is hugging the WM-Port/bottom area.

Edit: yeah, it seems like the touch part is taking the whole 854 into consideration, hence the offsetting.

Width of what, font? Display dimensions are the same.
Yeah, you're right, it seems something happened with how buttons rendered between yours screenshot and mine - see picture for alignment: the EQ button have extra space in the end?

Anyway the new clock position indeed fixed the overlapping, but still this information is interesting, just in case.

Font files are the same - just checked stock A50 and W1 zx300, md5 c77fe31f8ab1c040b905519dcd9320cb. No idea what's going on, maybe floating point calculation issue?

I've pushed a fix for touchscreen in v1.7.2.1, please test.

Cassette uppercase issues have been fixed in v1.7.2.
