Actually, It works well for me. But maybe It depends on which Mod you installed

Does Bluetooth work with MrWalkman mod? I have a jap a55 and did the region mod to english and Bluetooth doesn’t seem to work.
So you only changed the region, without installing the Walkman One firmware and BT doesn't work?
If you actually installed the firmware, I recommend deleting and re-pairing any device that is already paired in your player.

Hi everyone, until recently I had a Walkman ZX300, it's in a constant bootloop and I can't find the solution. I hope someone here tells me how to fix it...
I don't entirely get the decision to format/reset stuff when you can just delete, but anyway, I will have to mention on the blog that you should not try to reset the player while Walkman One is installed, or do stuff like formatting the internal storage externally.
In any case, messing up the internal storage wouldn't cause a boot loop. The settings file stuff can go on without the settings file actually existing, and the player would tell you that there is something wrong with the internal storage and that it needs to be formatted if you'd format it externally, so I'd say that you tried to factory reset the player and then you restarted the player before it finished.
I will get back to you later, I'm not at home at the moment.
It's Been a long long time... Hi Again, I have been waiting for more than a year and a half for you to fix my Bootloop problem on my NW-ZX300, since in the end I saved it and kept it, although I had the opportunity to return it to Japan again I decided to trust in you and waited for you to contact me but nothing ever happened...
And I'm here again to see if you can help me solve this... again, I don't want to be rude but I think I was patient enough to wait; The truth is that I have been away all this time because I'm just 17 years old and a few months ago I was diagnosed with Terminal Cancer (Osteosarcoma) and I became very depressed and my dream was always to build a high-end Hi-Fi system, and I remember spending a fortune on the ZX300 but now after that bootloop my dream went to hell since I spent around $700 Euros on it.
If you don't believe me I can show evidence, anyway I will leave a link with a PayPal account in case some good soul wants to donate a little to me to recover that ZX300.

Fair enough, such is life and the risk of modding...It's not as simple as explaining in a few words. Why would I be so mean and heartless as to not explain into those few words if it were that easy?
Instead, I have to dig up some old files on some SSD somewhere, open up my PC, connect it, find necessary files, package them in a certain way, etc. Too much trouble right now for me, I am sorry.

May I suggest that WalkmanMax91824 take the problem in a PM? + you have many other social medias to write about your personal problems, this is NOT one of them!

The unfortunate reality is theres a chance because theres a timeframe here, but theres also a chance hes just butthurt because he hasn't got help, and on that case shame on him for lying about something so serious. I get being frustrated I do. But its still negligence
But the simple fact of the matter is even if he is being truthful, nobody forces you to mod. A ZX300. Its good enough of a DAP for Sony to sell as such is still considered high end by corporate standards. This is not fault of Sony, this is fault by user negligence, any action you take to modify or alter a device you are knowingly taking said risk and you are responsible for anything that goes wrong. MrWalkman is not accountable for another users negligence, I even vaguely remember that message being included somewhere on firmware.
Moving on. MrWalkman didn't owe it to anybody. If you read over the instructions everything is pretty well documented and if you do everything by the book you are almost guaranteed to not have complications. Many of us have changed countless times, and even been booplooped several testing betas and he had helped me, but he simply could have walked away. MrWalkman has always done it out of his own kindness.
He could have never gave us firmware that has changed the whole playing field, or he could have charged people for it and we never would've known any better. It shpuld be well understood though the user is at fault for their actions any not anybody else.

Hey friend, if you don't believe me, it's your problem, I'm really sick, although the doctors told me that it's not about being terminal, it's something delicate, and I understand that there are many scammers asking for money for it, really ruthless as I said before I have proof that I can show at any time. One, it's not my case and I want not even a single cent, two, I come here to see who can help me with my ZX300. It's all.could he be such a PoS that he says something as auful a lie as anyone ?

And finally, don't you read the news? There are many cases of children and young people who die from this horrible disease that in my country is quite common to hear.
-i really wish it's a scam cause it's such a shame being terminally ill at 17-, It's a shame at least in your country, but I repeat it in Latin American countries it is not unusual.

Here are just two examples of what you just said. But well that's not the point and I don't even want to delve into the topic.

I don't want money, I don't know why you posted this, it's not a lie, I have the recipes, I know there are a lot of scammers, but I posted it in case someone just wanted to do it since now it seems like a total waste of money.

Yes, but with whom? The problem is that I sent thousands of emails to the guy but he never answered me anything, as if the email was no longer in use, and I can't find any other way of social network communication with Mr. Walkman or with any other person and I didn't found another alternative than here, so it seems like a dead end.May I suggest that WalkmanMax91824 take the problem in a PM? + you have many other social medias to write about your personal problems, this is NOT one of them!

Sony NW-A55What player do you have? A few years ago I did some beta testing for the fw, run into the same boot loop issue and received a package from @MrWalkman that force-reset the player to factory fw - probably that's what being talked about here. I might have it somewhere still around.

It doesn't matter, I'm not even angry about that. What bothered me is that Mr. Walkman personally wrote in this forum that he would help me one afternoon on 01/23 but he never contacted me. If he had told me that he simply couldn't do it, I would have returned it to Japan. easily, but I don't have any recent complaints about anything. And I know, I know, I know that it is my responsibility to download that software, but it also says that I can contact you with any problem, plus it is not the only time this has happened and no one does anything about it is unheard of.The unfortunate reality is theres a chance because theres a timeframe here, but theres also a chance hes just butthurt because he hasn't got help, and on that case shame on him for lying about something so serious. Fair enough... Such is the risk of modding, I dont generally go deeper than I can get myself out of. TBH I can see both sides of the coin and a little expansion costs nothing. I've released mod package's myself on other platforms, equally within a small environment as is a lot of hassle when people dont understand or care to not understand as they are not technically minded...It's not as simple as explaining in a few words. Why would I be so mean and heartless as to not explain into those few words if it were that easy?

I'm with you Q. I spent hundreds of hours reading and studying this and related threads re: modding my NW-WM1A with MrWalkman's firmware. I accepted the risk that I may brick my device, but I was also certain that I could work it back to health should that happen. I'm fortunate in that I've been in this electronics/computers/systems game since the late 60s (yes, I'm THAT old) and I have the confidence and understanding that I may brick a device and that I can and will un-brick it if required--been there, done it.Fair enough... I studied and read and asked questions (go look, I asked many)--some good, but most just probing and confirming my understandings. THIS IS A HUGE THREAD and it isn't easy to find things. But, many members answered my questions and many, many more helped just by their posts here.
I agree, an individual must accept some responsibility, show some initiative and be willing to work on issues should they arise.
