very frustrating..still stuck in boot loop

Yep, a boot loop won't just go away. As I said, it's fixable.

Unfortunately, I don't just have the fix on hand, I have to work on it, and I'll PM you.

Thanks.

As it's fixable, the DAP is not broken.

After i flash to 50R firmware i reset setting and rebuild DB. but error still pop up so i decided to flash back to factory default, before i can finish the flashing it turn into this.
I must have screw up or miss some of the important steps.

Yeah, I think I'll take down the A50R firmware, as I can't get make the error go away for everyone. The error it's gone for me though, but I still don't know exactly what's causing it.

One question: Are you sure you used the last updated firmware mod version? Since the time I posted the link, I updated the installation procedure several times. Maybe you downloaded some first version of the firmware and kept it somewhere and used that instead of the last updated version?

One of my best bass tests with new software is to see if the bass on this EP is satisfactory from start to finish? If all is well with the firmware....... you can make it till the end.

The interesting part........as I came for the bass, but DMP-Z1MK2 is extracting all kinds of stuff I’ve never heard before on this. The small electronic echo effects on the percussion on song one are something else. The echos in this particular song seem to show how cool the separation and imaging is within the soundstage.

In many ways this ends up a profound test. This music shows the 2% of my musical collection that’s 320kbps. Yet here the 1A with DMP-Z1MK2 sounds exactly right. The last thing you want is for music like this to sound thin, and it doesn’t?

The fourth song has the same arpeggio bass yet due to 1A detail...... this stuff never gets repetitive like you think it would have a chance to get?

Typically completely electronic sounds will be much different than studio or live recorded musical sounds. Due to direct recording the actual soundstage is created by panning and the reverb effects. In regular acoustic sounds there are limits, yet here there are no limits as there are zero references to actual instrument timbre. What we are left with as listeners are fully synthetic textures and no baseline for judgment in stuff needing to sound real.
