I wouldn't be able to hear anything at 45 low gain with the IER-Z1R 😅
No 45 would be too low for me. I remember in the original thread one who was never listening above 10 low gain though I can't remember what iem he was using

I’m at about 45 and it sounds great. Quiet volumes are fine for me
Right now I'm using Solaris 2020 with DHC Clone Fusion on my 1A (Plus v2, 1Z and J3). For most Hi-Res FLAC I'm at 30. For DSD I go up to 35. For CD rips I'm down to 25.

40 to 45 high gain. To me, it’s still gentle and quiet

cool little thing i kinda found out, i set my walkman on v2, change the settings to v1 but no reboot. then later in the day i switch to v1 for that bt functionality. if only there were a way to make changes without access to a pc. normal mode is ok, but why not have both throughout the day.

plus v1 and plus v2 modes. v2 glitches out whenever bluetooth receiver is on and the screen turns off. v1 doesnt have this issue.
Ah yes. The only control that is availble is the lock button which has already been given a function

Really appreciate your work. I have suggested my classmate your CFW and they all praised it. I have tried my friend's ZX300 and I found that there really is a leap between ZX and A players. But A player is pretty enough for my music taste and I don't have enough money to buy another player. So is there any way to improve A45's for better? And when will the new CFW be released? I'm looking forward for the low latency DAC.

try modded nx1s amp to the a45.
I have seen the amp on the online market , the price is reasonable. Is the amp heavy to carry? As I have to carry my A45 from and to school, I want to know that if the amp is able to put in a pocket and carry while walking.
