Ahh, you’re right. Missed that.
Haha. I assume Mr Walkman didn't make the same mistake and isn't frantically going through the WM1A firmware code trying to work out how to add 114gb.

I'm on latest Walkman One, Neutral tuning with my A55 now :).

It's a pity that you have to change the setting flag AND flash the tuning package to change between them. But at least we have the choice now :).

As usual, @MrWalkman outdid himself again :).

Just curious. Why do you only have 12GB internal memory?
As others have guessed it is because the picture is of the A55. My 1Z only shows 128GB as it has a 1A board as the 1Z board died when the first battery from my Nayparm mod leaked.

The idea is to have the ability to choose and find out something you like and use that option for a while.

Before seeing the other posts mentioning it's the A55, I was like "ok, what now?" 😅

Like or loath CFW, your commitment is second to none, with your CFW dialling in ever more on each successive release. A lot of players, a lot of content, above all a lot of work :thumbsup::thumbsup:

So I'm about to start playing with the different firmwares but I notice that I don't have the stockRevert for the WM1 FE so I downloaded the stock revert packages on the @MrWalkman website but that Bundle don't have the stock revert tunings. Do I need to revert the tuning aswell or I can 'overwrite' with a new install? If no, any of you guys have the stock revert tuning for the WM1-FE?

The StockRevert tuning is the same for all StockRevert packages.

Instead of that, you can just reinstall the 3_02 firmware from Sony.

Oh that's nice! Thank you

No problem - by the way, the "Bright" sound signature is evolved from the DMP-FE firmwares back then.

I'm also interested in knowing more about the four different options and to what they are aiming at.

This is related to previous releases.

Midnight is "Warm" - it's warmer in comparison to the previous Dawn firmware, which is why Dawn is in this firmware as "Bright".

Warm is a term used to point to a sound signature which as a bigger lows/lower mids presence, while Bright points to bigger highs presence, with more sparkling in that area (just a rough idea).

Neutral is a combination between Midnight and Dawn, hence why the Neutral name, sort of a middle point between those two.

WM1Z is the NW-WM1Z stock sound.

Thank you for the tip. I might start with that then. There's so much stuff I may need a month to test everything out
Yes there is 24 dfferent combinations of signature, plus mode and dac initialisation. Add to that the 3 gain settings
