You’re referring to the recent transfers tab? That has always worked for me regardless of stock or custom firmware. It works immediately after adding in new music. But if you do a manual database rebuild it just shows all music on your player.

I've looked through this thread and I don't think there is one. The problem was mentioned by some user but he was using an A35 I believe. Mrwalkman acknowledged that it happens occasionally and suggested to reset settings but that's it.

Is it safe to continue using my A55 with the error? I don't mind since its just an extra tap.

Yeah, i always have DSEE AI, Vinyl Standard & Phase Linearizer on A Low always turned on regardless of whatever firmware I’m using. I think these 3 add very much to the overall sound and still maintains the clarity, dynamics and most importantly the sony house warm sound that we all love.

Uncannily I have those 3 exact settings too on midnight classic.

The wildest thing that has happened is dealing with new music with the 1A/1Z. That area is always a group of albums that you recently just placed in. For the longest time it didn’t work, so much so that I stopped using it to check for new additions. It has not worked since the early days of way before MrWalkman? But I just checked it and it’s back. About 90% correct too? Go figure?

It has always worked fine for me but requires that the clock on the player is set correct. Also if you do a full rescan all music will be in recent (I think this happens as a result of switching fw as well). What the player don’t seem to recognize is if you update a file that is already on the player (like with updated tags), here it seems you have to delete the file, disconnect, reconnect and copy over. Also recent is only what was copied over last time you copied. And I don’t know to what extent it works if you remove the memory card and put files on it out of the player, I never remove the card

Gosh i love how these sound and look! Crin was right these are not for everyone but only those with the most esoteric of tastes. I love how different it sounds to anything ive ever had.

Just get Fiio EM5, I hope this problem with the sound just normal, before upgrade to the latest firmware I think, is not happening this sound tickling...

It’s just manual relays clicking. They also click when you switch between tracks based on the two clocks

Are there any tools for downgrade the firmware? too late I have upgraded to 3.02
I think I will more like version 3.01 because it said good for all types of music and very dynamic
