good suggestion, but it seems more like they have bypassed those players. im pretty sure some better phones like a Xperia Z3 will definitely sound better than those.

i heartily recommend the FiiO X1 for tight budgets

where did you see noise cancelling on the A15/16/17?
I sure hope it doesn't have it as the plug almost always messes up with the signal.

I wonder  where pinkbecca saw that as well as i can't find anything listing any noise cancelling option on the USA Sony specs page for the NWZ-A17 which i'm sure features the exact same specs as the A15 and A16
 
there have been some Sony Walkman's that offer a noise cancelling feature (for example the e570 series and the F800 series) though only available when using the included earbuds or another specified Sony NC iem plus its set to off by default so you have to turn it on (though in the case of my F807 i have to admit it works pretty well, although personally i never use it)

64gb comes in only Black and Silver for all regions
 
I wonder if the Japanese exclusive blue color is worth having with only 32gb.

The price is great for this DAP,i wonder how diffrent will sound compared to the ZX1 that have pretty much same features, knowing that the internal prat is diffrent, anyway i this is good will take lots of Fiio and Ibasso fans.

But not sure if its worth it if it costs more to import it to UK rather then buy from UK. Plus hassle of changing language on it without reading japanese!
