You could have enter recovery mode and do a factory reset. Nothing problematic
In case anyone needs to do that in the future.
You now have the recovery menu where you can select items with vol+/- and enter with Power button
- Power off the device
- Press and hold Power and Vol- until the sony logo comes up
- Release buttons. After a while an open Android and "No Command" should appear
- Press and hold Power, press Vol+, Release Vol+, Release power
button
I use 512. formatted it in zx507, so that walkman app can read it.What size and make of card are you using? I have no trouble with a 1Tb SanDisk Extreme, even though I was warned that it was not supported. The only problem is having a card that size it does slow things down.
Did you format the card in the Walkman first?
The synergy between the ZX507 and the iFi Hip DAC is seriously great. Listening w the HD6XX now and oh man is it amazin. I can hardly believe how well the iFi drives the 6XX. It’s a revelation! Highly rec this rig!
Nice! So the ZX507 can be used as a digital transport via usb c into another DAC?
I honestly have never heard the 6xx sound this great, and I've had a few much larger amps over the years, including the jotunheim, asgard etc. This little monster known as the iFi Hip DAC is soo gd!

The ZX507 is a really good digital transport source.
