I wanted to add that it has a nice smooth finish, no rough edges or ridges from the mold
I'm sure he meant the armor case, based on what he said about the colored backs. And he's right, they're not very attractive and black's probably the best choice. But as far as function, durability, and not being a flip-lid type, it looks good.

I'd still love to get the dignis, but I don't think it's sold at biccamera (where my wife's probably gonna be buying everything on my wish list including the Yamazaki 12yr).
When life gives you lemons, you carve yourself a nice ash ZX300 protector - sorry for your lo$$I love that blue dignis colour, well in the pictures at least. Things are a bit tight right now though. I have to get trees trimmed and some huge ash trees taken down. The estimate was 5 grand last year not including the 3 huge dead ash trees. I guess there is an invasive beatle species killing them. So I'm guessing 7 grand with the 3 dead ash.
Stuff you never think of when you buy a wooded lot
On a side note I got my black 2.5 to 4.4 adapter today from penon audio, and I swear it sounds clearer than the 17 dollar silver one I got from Amazon. It sure looks better, oh and it was only 8 bucks.![]()

I'll count my self lucky paying half of a $400 tree removal cost for a couple of my trees my neighbour required to be removed as a condition of sale of his house.Nice that might catch on, environmental friendly cases. 5 years after we moved in we had to have 20 dutch elm taken out because they had 'dutch elm disease' it's just stuff you usually don't think about. I thought, this lot looks amazing with all the trees lets buy it! Lol

Have a look if igadgetz does a silicon case for the ZX300, I bought one for my A15 and my ZX100 - cheap as chips as good as the original Sony ones.
Ah, a comestic upgrade, or does the blue leather open up the sound stage and improve the battery life?No I already have the 90 dollar oem case, I just like the colour on the dignis. My lot is 4 acres so a lot of trees, especially close to the house. Thus the $$$$.

Sorry, that was a combination of my dumb humour, a mocking of what goes on here in these forums, or perhaps a justification for a cosmetic upgrade.dignis cases are open at the top, but the bottom is covered. So there's only one direction the sound can go to get out. As a result almost 100% comes out the jacks.

Isn't that particular model discontinued? And i believe they have come out with an new portable dac/amp.Guys, can anyone compare the sound quality of the ZX300 and the TEAC P90sd please? I haven't heard the ZX300 yet (though I've got a brief listen from the WM1Z, sounded great).
I'm planning to update my DAP (replace for my old A25). And the P90sd sounded really good from my test, though the UI is too dumb to stand and use as a daily DAP for me, maybe a portable DAC/amp replacing for my HA2SE. But it's now only $270, with shipping... maybe $300 or $320, half the price ZX300. I really love the sound of that Burr Brown PCM1975 though...
So anyone can give me some advice, pls?
Yes, I know about the P5, but the P90 is still on sale (new) on amazon Japan, and it’s half the price of the P5, with the same PCM1975 DAC chip.Isn't that particular model discontinued? And i believe they have come out with an new portable dac/amp.
