Correct me if I am wrong, but proper 4.4 to 3.5 adapter won't change anything for regular 3.5 headphones right ? They won't become balanced ? Also can anybody recommend nicely build quality adapter 4.4 male to 2.5 female balanced which doesn't look like junk and can be purchased globally since I live in Spain . There are no options in Amazon here .

You probably did all your album art through some program that only finds baseline jpg's. When browsing through google images it's a crapshoot. This was my experience before I mass converted my whole library with TagScanner, since about 1/4 of my album art did not show up.

If it's not a baseline jpg, it will NOT work with Walkmans. The way you transfer files to the unit does not matter in the slightest. Drag and drop, mediago, does not matter.
Well, with my previous walkman it did matter. I haven't had any issues yet with this player. Tagscanner would not cover all my music, as many albums I have are too obscure. Sometimes I need to crop a picture of a vinyl artwork :)

Hello guys.

I am newie in lossless listening. All my listening experience before can be descibed as "iTunes only". I made some researches and understood that the digital player is most balanced offer for a total rookie.

1. What headphones (up to 400 dollars) you will recommend for this bad boy?
2. Right now i have a good offer for to start with a Tidal as my secondary content provider (HDTRACKS is too pricy having all the music collection only from it). Can this Walkman be used as a MQA DAC for my MacBook?

Thanks for your kindness to help me.

My point is that for anyone with issues displaying artwork on modern Walkmans, TagScanner can mass recompress all your existing artwork so that it'll 100% work.

On my blank album cover artwork, I usually just imagine the artwork :) Usually dragons, tigers, and naked women is what I come up with :0

I think I found my balanced iem, this looks tiny and smooth for 1 dynamic and 2 balanced armatures, looks like it will sound nice and be comfy and I can use balanced. With the 100 balanced cable from mme it's only 400 bucks. And if it doesn't bury my ue700 and e80 I will send it back. On a side note I have 220 hours on my unit and I'm listening to Ozrick Tentacles "spirals in hyperspace" and the SE sounds amazing. I think from memory this is even better than opus 1, we shall see soon, but that was the best sounding dap I've personally ever heard.

Gonna test the supposed better than opus one cayin n5ii this week against the Sony.
