Did you use any amp before? Most definitely yes!
I would describe it as a more analogue sound overall. With deep engulfing dynamics. Even with a cheap iem like the Whizzer A15 ($ 65) the difference is undoubtedly audible.

How is it using the balanced output without the A5 and the normal one with the A5? Which Headphones are you using?

You misunderstand me. I am not using any amps with the zx300. It is plenty powerful for my cheap iems ($65 - $300)
The SE is good enough by itself. The balanced gives more dynamics and separation for me. The low is absolutely where i want it to be!

Do you have other headphones to compare? This interests me.

I cant use the Meze 99 Classic on balanced as i dont have the required cable. I am planning on ordering one to see how it will develop the already enjoyable experience i have with the 99 C.

Sorry, I think I missunderstand you again. I thought that you are using an adapter 4.4 to 3.5.
I am using the A5 and the Aeon Flow. I can't imagine that it will sound better using a balanced cable for the Aeon without the A5. But this interests me

Which Headphone? Do you have an amp? Is there any thread on the zx300 on 4pda?
I can't believe I lost my 4.4 mm socket rubber plug, went to the Sony repair center and purchased a few more In case I lose them again. Got a few 3.5, 4.4 and wm port plugs.
Can't find any on cheap chinese websites

That's cheap compared to other brands.
I too make big eyes when I see 200-300 $ cables
I enjoy my 100 $ Onso balanced cable ordered on Amazon Japan.

Apart from the official Sony case and the Dignis case, are there others worth looking at?
