Don't think this has been posted?

Link to the full user manual, if you want to have a read before deciding if the NW-ZX300 is for you.

User Manual Link

Why it's not not on the UK Sony site I really don't know?

Guys,

How long does your ZX300 battery last? I charged it to full and put it away ready for play (standby, DAP on screen off).
Took it out this morning about 3/4 days since the charging, and the battery was pretty much flat.
Is what i'm doing not a "standby" like a phone, coz i know my Iphone can easily last more than a few days when not used and on standby.

Just thinking if i got a ZX300 with a defect battery.

Thanks.

Thanks. I actually found the manual and other pack-in documentation in .pdf format somewhere a few nights ago, but haven't looked that hard at it. Considering a zx300 purchase in June during a vacation to Japan (can save a few $ vs. retail in the US). Anyway, tonight I took an actual look at that manual and was surprised to learn that drag-and-drop is totally a thing with the zx300. I had assumed that proprietary Music Center software and old-school 'synching' was mandatory (well, maybe is for other purposes, haven't read everything yet). But I just read the section "Transferring content using Windows Explorer" and yes!! yes!!

From the old days of having to use Sony Sonicstage software, drag and drop is the only way for me

I just plugged in a 4.4 earphones in to the relevant output socket and no sound came out. Am I suppose to change any settings on the player?

Did the yellow balanced indicator show up on the screen when you plugged in the 4.4mm jack?

When its new it needs a firm nudge to embed it fully into the socket. As time elapses this becomes much easier and 2nd nature
