How do you like the case?

Is that the case that came with it? Or did you have to buy the one that ebay sells for $150.

1. gus922 very nice photos ... congratulations .. how many cases does come with the player ?!!! ... i see a case in the box of the zx-2 on the left side with a latch on the bottom .... but the case in the other photos it don't seem to be the same case in the box 

The case in the box comes with the player (of course). The flipcase (CKL-NWZX2) is an extra. It's much more practical.

ZX2 has 3 official cases, the one that comes with the ZX2, the flip note style one (approx 90 dollars) and the superior leather pouch one which is the least useful one but looks nice (250 dollarsish)

It's really not that large by external dimensions in person... But what really is is unbelievably heavy. The thing is like a brick, and seems as though it would be twice its size for the weight....

It only weighs an ounce less then the old DX100.  And anybody who had one of those will attest to what a great rioting tool they would have been.....

That is why I keep one with me at all times (the DX100). It is also good for Zombie outbreaks.

It could be used as a weapon as many people stated, and the build quality will make it survives a nuclear blast lol....

What I don't like is how Sony does the printing of the model number and serial numbers on the back and just under the micro SD socket, I wish they did something like the ZX1.

There have already been impressions in this thread by owners of both. It seems that the preference goes to the ZX2. I have bought one unheard, and do most of my buying that way. I do a lot of reading to get a good overall impression and it has done me well for years.
