I went to change the display of my relatively recently acquired WM1A2 to VU meter or spectrum analyser as typically my choice on the OG 1A and ZX300 but could only find the cassette Walkman screen - I assume it’s not an option which is a shame but thought I’d check here just in case I’ve missed something!

Dune Sketchbook is truly incredible and underrated. It was chopped up to make the first soundtrack and seemingly, the second one too. They gave House Atreides a desert spin. Other highlights (to me) being I See You In My Dreams and Shai-Hulud.Amazing and immersive soundscapes!

Has anyone had any experience with comparing the 4.4 vs 3.5 outputs with campfire andromeda or Ara?
I have a set of Ara that to be honest sound amazing out of the 3.5 and I can barely hear any hiss even if I listen for it but I’m going to get a new cable as the stock one annoys me a bit. So not sure whether to get it in 3.5 which I know will be great or risk getting it in 4.4.
So basically does anyone have experience with Andromeda or Ara of impedance affecting bass levels between the two outputs and is hiss level different between the two outputs?
Reason for considering 4.4 and not just settling with 3.5 is that my Volur sounds better out the 4.4.

two things...
First.. I've owned the NW-WM1AM2 for almost two years.. have always used either the clear TPU case or the black velvet case I bought from China. The TPU always protects the unit very well and a good fit, but felt cheapish and slippery and attracted fingerprints. The black case felt lovely to touch, but too rubbery and loose to fully protect the unit. I've always wanted a case in-between the two and now I've found one! Benks case. I know a few here use this case, but it's ideal and just what I wanted. very pleased. It took 3 weeks to deliver, but worth it. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/334765241930
Second... I've upgraded firmware to 1.08 and ever since I have my battery life has been really bad. I normally would be able to leave on standby with battery saver on and it would loose minimal % over night, now I find the unit is completely flat! Not very happy about this. Perhaps the update has undone all the good work(my settings) to reduce consumption. Anyone else notice this?

I have the clear silicon sleeve at moment , not bad but i've always felt need for a more sturdy one for transport and it might be that this one fits
About battery , yes it seems that the new fw1.08 or its sounds enhancements consume more power/ drain battery a bit faster. Player remains cool though

There is one probably unique example where this isn’t necessarily the case - worth noting in the event anyone needs a solution like this. The LPGT Ti edition actually has more power single ended, pushing out 720mW vs 500 balanced. Apparently Lotoo did this to allow for people seeking more power to drive headphones with this special edition DAP.
I often use 3.5mm on this DAP as a result but again, I’m pretty certain it is a very unique scenario!
