I always thought the big advantage of the Walkman was, that you could use it while Walking, hence the name^^
Nah…I don’t listen to music on my way to work and mostly on call. So it goes in my bag.

It is dangerous to use it while walking if we use IEM, it is still doable with earbuds or on ear headphones
I always use it while walking, since years, nothing dangerous happened so far.

But I mostly use it while train or plain rides. As I stopped owning a car, I am capable to listen to a lot of music while gazing out of windows.

In combination with the IER-M9 and good foam, Its possible to enjoy music in perfect quality unrelated to where you are.

I just put it in this hard case on my way to work and not worry about vibration or scratches

what is the name and model of this case?

i used peli 1040 for wm1zm1 + ier-z1r.

for wm1zm2 + ier-z1r i would need the peli 1060.

adb shell cmd overlay enable com.android.internal.systemui.navbar.gestural

Disable gestures

adb shell cmd overlay disable com.android.internal.systemui.navbar.gestural

Is that cubed foam? I have the same in a Pelican 1060 but never got around to making the shape for the Walkman. Seems very easy to just get the shape, but how do you get the depth just right? Doesn't seem to come out in perfect cubes depth wise.
Ya those are cubed form like below. Easy to manage to create perfect shape to fit Walkman and IEM

Will send you the pic of bottom layer. Since the Walkman has some weight so 2 layers of foam is what I left I guess but will check it once I’m home.

Hello all,
I just bought a Japanese nw-wm1am2 about a month ago within seconds of listening I knew this was an awesome music player.
I am new to android, iPhone and mac guy. No problems with dap whatsoever everything works flawlessly.
my problem is I transferred music from apple music on a mac ripped years ago and a huge amount of album art is missing.

Is there a way to install an app that will find the missing art and put it in place on the Sony?

long time lurker TIA

Check out the tags on the files to see whether the images are embedded. Something like dbPoweramp will let you download the art.

I also copy the cover into the root folder of each album called "Folder.jpg". Not sure if that's needed nowadays though.

There is a file in the Sony above the music files labeled Folder.jpg when I look with android file transfer, drop there or in each and every album that has no Artwork.
Thank you turbojet.
