yes they are real i bought it from same seller a week and half ago and they sound amazing compared to my ex700 i m just burning them in more with pink noise and white noise
they other you can notice with this seller is he has a square-trade warranty logo at the end of his listings. seller cannot offer these warranties on fake products this is another point that these are genuine

Lol, good idea maybe I'll go to a Sonystyle store today..... I just ignored the idea because I remember when the EX700 cost $700 here in Sonystyle stores.

I can see Portal and Half-life references are being flung about in this thread, so I feel this is the perfect time to comment lol.

@3602

What are the main differences between the EX1000 and the EX600? I saw that james444 has already listed them equal to the FX700/2nd place to his favorite dynamic driver IEM, the EX1000. It's looking like I may be able to get the EX1000's sound without shelling out,say, a kidney :wink:

So far the synopsis is the harshness and colour of the EX700 is gone in the EX600 which has more mids and less soundstage than the EX1000.

The main differences seem to be the material of the driver (ex7c vs ex6c/ex1k) and the housing (plastic in ex6c, magnesium in ex1k = different resonance).

mastershake, I have not heard the EX1000. However, from reading reviews, it appears that the EX1000 has some "very attractive" bass, overall clearer sound (well IMO the EX600 cannot get much clearer) and a fuller sound-stage, as opposed to the EX600's hemispherical stage in front of you (hence my Concert Hall reference).
Also heavy gaming after a successful repartitioning of the hard drive, a successful installation of some sort of an unofficial driver which boosted my VRAM from 320MB to 700MB makes you do things. Such as uncontrollable "press F6" actions of the left hand.

kiteki, after all these years the EX700 is still that expensive in Aus? What!?

Also I hope that I have not started a rave nor an FOTM event with my review here...

What I'm wondering about is where it is made make what kind of difference?  Materials, quality(if so, what kind of quality).  I wonder...
