Since I recommended them, I sincerely hope that this eartips will work ideally for you as well. Personally I don’t mind spending some money on well reviewed eartips as they are one of the most crucial component to extract best possible SQ. I mean I spend thousands of $ for these fancy pansy cables which yield relatively small sum of sonic benefits.
Yeah exactly my thinking given the amount that we spend on the IEM's themselves.

with the $ spent on tip rolling, isn’t it more cost effective to get a custom tip? well, the benefit of tip rolling is get slightly presentation and fun experimenting
Cost effective mean nothing with the problem that you can't fine tune or change how the earphone sounds to suits your preference on a custom tips.with the $ spent on tip rolling, isn’t it more cost effective to get a custom tip? well, the benefit of tip rolling is get slightly presentation and fun experimenting

That’s true, even though i have mine for about 1.5 years, i am still experimenting different tips. my ears still aches after an hour of use. Just got myself a new cable Dunu Blanche to try, hope it helps but more importantly i can swap the plugs.

I think the fitting size is a bit tricky, I use the S size of the Sony ear tips, SS size on ALZA and Final E tips, It's around 10mm to 11mm in diameter of the round shape ear tips.
So i just send ADV. a message to ask about which suggestion size to get, they suggest me to get M or L size of their Eartune Fidelity U.
I made an order of the M size in the end, wish me luck for the fitting when it arrive...
Do let us know, I also use S size of Sony hybrid tips, curious to know which size will fit your ears (and mine hopefully).

Anyone yet try the Z1R with Kann Alpha 4.4?
Yes. They pair very well together. The Kann alpha has a warm tonality not too dissimilar to the wm1z. It has a tonne of power, so it can drive them perfectly too.Anyone yet try the Z1R with Kann Alpha 4.4?

If it's anything like the Kann Cube via the 2.5mm it is a cracking pairing. They seem to match well together... I'd probably say I liked it slightly better than the SE200 with the Z1R.

Ever since I bought the 1950s cable for my Z1R I've been in total bliss listening to them on my WM1Z (stock 3.02 firmware for Japan region). I have to admit I'm curious about the ERLKöNIG though and you seem to have ALL the top IEMs... so the obvious question is which do you prefer? or how do you pick which one to listen to?
I rotate them all depending on the mood but my plan is to eventually downsize the collection to 3-4 IEM’s, with the Z1R being one of them.Ever since I bought the 1950s cable for my Z1R I've been in total bliss listening to them on my WM1Z (stock 3.02 firmware for Japan region). Ideally I would like a collection of IEM’s that are each specialists in bass, mids, and treble respectively, plus an all-rounder/reference type of monitor. However they all still need to be able to perform as an all-rounder to some degree as well. I know, it’s a bit weird and OCD lol...
So at the moment my top 3 would be Erlkonig for mids, Z1R for treble, and LXSE for bass. If the LXSE didn’t exist, the Z1R would cover both bass and treble

Combine them all together to form Captain Headphone!
