It is not “seriously difficult to fake a Z1R". The true reason is, Z1R is an unpopular headphone, to invest research and development on this will only yield negative profit.

As fake IE900, do you know how many research articles published by Chinese on "Helmholtz resonator" alone?
Yes ypu mran it os unpopular in the dake trade, something simple to mill or to mould may be a better candidate to fake, o kean Z1R may require a cowtly CNC precise machine to mill the form of the buds. And moar fake traders like you aqy go doe rhe moat popular stuff eg Airpods Beats by dr dre etc

Anyone tried heating(hot water, don't dip the connectors in the water of course) and molding the stock ear parts to fit your ear better? I've seen people do that with cheaper cables so I'm guessing it should be the same with these?

What? Use heat gun or hair dryer maybe a safer solution

Has anyone owned these with the stock cable for more than a year and turn them regularly? does the mmcx connector over time take less force to turn/spin them? not sure if I should be avoiding rotating them if I want to keep them for years.

I used the stock cable exclusively the first 2 1/2 years I had them and didn’t notice any change over that time. The last about 2 1/2 years have I used them with the Dunu Blanche and again no change over that periode

Thanks, the only fear I have with these are the mmcx connections, hope they don't weaken over time, my IEMs that can rotate easily get annoying when I use them
I briefly had the IE300 and IE600 and they spun far too freely, probably why there are many issues with their connectors failing. The stock XBA-Z5 cable had notches to prevent spinning, which seems like a good idea to keep the connection stable as I don't see the need for rotation if it causes wear.
I've had my Z1R for about 2 years (secondhand) and I don't notice much rotation, if any. The Z1R connectors have always seemed to be quite solid to me.

Been romancit with a BLON BL-03 and to ne honest for its cheap pricinf it sounds amazinfly good, its more close to IER-M7 or XBA-Z5 . Still Z1R is king tho but for a cheap alternative for travel blon is very good
