For those that have hairline scratches/scuffs that want to remove them, I just used a Cape Cod cloth for the first time and it worked removing them all, you literally have to rub it on the same spot for about 3-4 minutes and they buff out to the original shine. I had one removing an aftermarket cable that took some force and the tip actually scratched the outside and that was removed, nothing deep that you would catch with your finger nail but noticeable and 2-3mm long.

Cape Cod is a must keep around the house for so many things, especially those shiny watches!

Nice idea, mind posting a few shots of the 'after'? If this can restore the Z1R to new and remove all the micro scratches, it's a must-have.

Sure, don't have any before but the bottom IEM had 2 long visible scratches out of the MMCX port now it looks exactly like the other IEM, I don't take the best photos and also trying to take the pic without my phone showing in the reflection isn't easy lol

IER-Z1R with Brise Audio Yatono Rh2+.

This cable addresses the major drawback of the Z1R when compared to other flagship IEMs. It enhances resolution without altering its distinctive sound signature. The Z1R itself is bass-heavy and bright, and this cable doesn't alter that, but it naturally refines those qualities.

I have a great affection for it. However, to offset the expenses of my ongoing exploration into the realm of Cable Rolling, I have decided to part ways with it. I listed it in the Classifieds, so please feel free to send me a private message if you're interested.

Friend just got the Z1R after listening to mine, his serial is 16xxx and his cables are made in vietnam(if that means anything probably not), they look the same, the plastic covering the whole cable feels a bit more bump like the twisted texture, maybe I'm just crazy and use to my Fiio cable

I'm not a believer either in the cables effecting sound from a purely scientific stance of how transducers produce sound and what the role of the cable is in that process. Its all too homeopathic and alchemic for me.

That being said if it brings someone joy or perceived satisfaction, who am I to yuck their yum.
