I nearly forgot to mention one of the most robust albums I have ever had the pleasure of listening to. The Fountain soundtrack from Clint Mansell. Immensely organic and hauntingly beautiful.

I absolutely second this.

"Set me on fire" is a great track of the album.

I would have to agree with this. I've only just heard of this artist, and of the Immersion album, and "Set Me On Fire" is certainly (thus far) my choice; my cochleae require texture for survival!

Speaking of which, are there any other recommendations for songs/music with HEAVY texture? Organic or Wet (not slippery) is preferred.

For the "audiophile bass heads" that want to test the bass ability on their cans i recommend the #1 CD from Fischerspooner.Great Electronica with some real deep bass.

"Aggressive Expansion" - Hans Zimmer (T Dark Knight)
"Revenge" - James Horner (Braveheart)

I love the articulate presentation of bass comin' from these tracks.
