I have a playlist for auditioning headphones...Just a variety of song types that I enjoy, all well-recorded:

Boz Scaggs:    Lowdown
Norah Jones:   Come Away With Me
Pink Floyd:       Money
Lyle Lovett:      Ballad of the Snow Leopard and the Tanqueray Cowboy   (Most of Lovett's music is VERY well recorded.)
The Jayhawks: Waiting for the Sun

If a piece of equipment works well with these songs, it'll work for me!

I enjoy Holly Herndon's new CD Platform to discover many possibilities. So much layers and music flying all over the soundstage going on. Allthough not so much bass.

BT's Electronic Opus is a fun album in general to listen to and it's fun to hear 1.618 off of his This Binary Universe album with a bit of symphony thrown in.  Also worth checking out his tracks Hikari and Le Nocturne de Lumiere.

I've always felt Kaskade is at his best when he strips down his music or goes a bit to the deep house side.  This is an interesting mix / song structure of one of his hits.

ASTR has some cool sonic stuff going on, also check out Get High, and Activate Me.  Electro Pop vibe on the darker / atmospheric tip.

I'll do a different genre of music next time I post.
