Alive 2007 really brought out some of the finer points of my Fostex.

Like acoustic guitar, bass & dobro? "Skip Hop and Wobble" Jerry Douglas, Russ Barenberg & Edgar Myer - one of the best cds ever for demoing headphones! Desert island quality....

+1 for that, but more importantly that entire album is just as good.
"Skip hop and wobble" just knocked me over in my chair!!

Hey hey !
For all the new wave / electro lovers, here some good records :
Fisherspooner - #1
The tracks = The 15th and Emerge. Very good work for the sound design. Amazing bass. Spectacular stereo effects.
LCD SOUNDSYSTEM - This is happening
Track : Dance Yourself Clean : Excellent drums and bass.
LCD SOUDSYSTEM - SOUND OF SILVER
Track : Someone great
Depeche Mode - Best of
Enjoy the silence and personal Jesus = I would like to have the sound from my R10 in a club. It would be the paradise.

For those who dig "Skip Hop and Wobble", there is an album by Russ Barenberg called "When At Last" that is just as amazing (Jerry Douglas is on it and there is great violin on many tracks). This guy only made a couple of albums over twenty years or so, yet is considered a "guitarist's guitarist")

Oops, almost forgot to say check out "The Man In The Hat" (track 5) on the Barenberg album if you want an all-time great acoustic track for your 'phones!

When at Last does not come up on MOG. One of the few that I've found that doesn't. Will have to wait on that one. Really liking Skip Hop and Wobble though.
Thanks...
