For sure.

I just finished listening to the whole album and I'm doing it again right now, so beautiful. Do you have any other artists in the same style? I don't know many artists at all but I love to discover new ones.

I'm really just blown away by Barton Hollow...the dynamic and range of the recording is stellar!! Not to mention the music is very good if you like indie pop...not sure how they are catergorized.

I'd heard on the grapevine that this album was a funk reference - good lord man, it sure is!
Straight to the top of my funk list.

If you're a funk fan - stop reading - get this now!

 Funkadelic - Cosmic Slop (1973)

Just listened to the whole album...very nice!! Strange mix of different styles but it works. The mastering is exceptional!!

Meaghan Smith - The Cricket's Orchestra

This album is ridiculously lush and warm sounding while also being clear and articulate too.
The music is extremely well written, played and produced Pop with some heavy Jazz and Country inflections.
One tune was produced by T Bone Burnett.

I have an Eargasm everytime I listen to this album!

Just listened to Barton Hollow-The Civil Wars for the first time. If you haven't heard this one please give it a listen. It is exceptionally mastered. Some of the best sounding vocals I've heard in a long time...awesome!!

++1 on Barton Hollow.  Wow, the vocal harmonies just soar, and the acoustic guitar work is exceptional.   A minimialist recording for sure, and I agree, mastered to perfection.

BTW, this album is being released in the UK next week with 4 additional tracks including a rendition of "Billie Jean"....my pre-order is in Amazon right now for sure...

Hey, thanks for the comments!

I'm glad someone else is enjoying this album!
First time I heard the whole album, (when I picked it up from the store), I played it three times in a row, 'cause I couldn't get enough of it.
:D
Cheers,
C

I don't know of anything else quite like BH. Don't know that much about them tbh. They remind me somewhat of Damien Rice on the O album. That is a HUGE complement for me as that is one of my favorites of all time. If you haven't tried "O" then you will definitely give that one a listen.

Any prog-rock/Yes fans, this is probably my favourite recording of "I've Seen All Good People" ever, same as on the 'Keys To Ascension 2' Album Live Disc:
