I sure hope you go through with it. I'm sure after seeing some of your final works of art, as you've shown us here, the higher than average price would be justified. You've got at least one customer in line my friend (and I'm sure there are quite a few others just as interested), I say gather whatever recources you need, and maybe offer a first batch, for whatever number of orders you feel comfortable. I, for one, would most certainly jump aboard.

Here is a TF10 I did a while back for a friend. His TF10 case broke where the socket was.

I have listened and done freq. curve comparisons.  But there are issues with both systems.

1) General Bias, off course I like my stuff....
2) Freq. Curve, machine used, the positioning of the CIEM etc etc influence results. I have never done a back to back freq. curve test, I have just pulled curves off the net and looked at them compared to the curves my designs have.

That said, I am not saying my curves are worse or better, I am just saying that back to back comparisons would yield more accurate results.

Nice stuff (as I mentioned before elsewhere) FullCircle, and unique.  And you seem very busy with making all sorts of custom IEMs.  I would love to see a chart comparing your custom IEMs (would actually love to hear one of them) with others in back to back comparisons, do you use a standard test setup (711 simulator)?

Yes I have the standard equipment to run freq. curves. But again, the only way I would trust a freq. curve comparison was if I were to run the tests back to back against other products. The postioning depth, and the seal of the IEM to the 711 coupler all determine the out come of the graph.  For example, if I place the CIEM/IEM deeper in to the coupler, the high frequencies appear to be extended, or if the seal is not tight, then the low frequencies are not as strong as they should be. Then, and this is my opinion, every machine has its own nuances and characteristics, so I would prefer to do back to back studies against other CIEMs with my equipment and with me conducting the studies.

Further, if I were to post results of other products that were conflicting with graphs or statements made by companies regarding their specs etc, I think I could run in to some "issues."  So I avoid such things......

Yes, I have made a lot of CIEMs over the years. I was lucky to be in a job situation, where I had a lot of free time on my hands. Trouble was, I could not just sit a and read a book, I had to be busy, so I learned about CIEMs and I always loved audio equipment, it was a natural fit.

This thread has a bunch of real nice work FullCircle. I've seen a few pics here and there but a compilation of your work in a thread like this definitely is impressive.
